Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is the publisher of Élixir Maison, who can be reached at contact@elixirmaison.com. This policy is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

We only collect what you send us yourself through the contact form, namely your email address and your message. We use them solely to reply to you. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and you may withdraw it at any time. We never sell or pass on your data.

The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. The prices and bottle sizes you enter are neither sent to us nor stored.

Who processes it for us

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Messages from the contact form pass through a form service hosted by Google. These providers may process data outside the United Kingdom; any such transfer relies on the safeguards required by UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or profiling cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies, or anonymised audience measurement, may be used. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), any non-essential cookie would need your consent first.

How long we keep it

Contact form data is kept only for as long as it takes to deal with your message, then deleted.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, write to contact@elixirmaison.com. We will reply within one month.

How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, through its website ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
